If the item is returned after the due date, library staff can waive the overdue fine.

• There is a one-hour grace period to return the bicycle (helmet, lock, and key) on-time without accruing fines.
• At one hour past due, after the grace period, student will receive an overdue notice and start accruing fines at $5 per hour.
• At 12 hours past the due date, student will receive a 2nd overdue notice and start accruing fines at $10 per hour.
• At 24 hours past the due date, the item is considered lost, and student will be billed $225.00 for replacement.

If it's returned late when library staff are not on campus, the fine will be waived on the next business day (Monday - Friday).
